How can I become a member of Open Arms of Love?

Joining Christ's family is an exciting and monumental moment. Believers need to have a support system and join a family that will hold them accountable.

To become a member you must first profess and believe Jesus is Lord. Afterward, you and the Pastor will discuss your commitments to the church and profess it to the congregation. Once you have completed these steps, Open Arms of Love will invite you into the family of Christ!

You will need to fill out an application and submit it to the pastor or one of the officials.

What is the order of Church service?

On Sunday church services, we open with praise and worship. Afterward, we gather tithes/offerings and use that time for members to take a temporary break. Lastly, Pastor Woodson brings forth the Word of God. Once church service is concluded members often meet and greet one another to connect on a deeper level.

 - Sunday School (10:00AM - 11:00AM)
- Worship (11:10AM - 1:00PM)

Monday:
- Prayer (6:30PM - 7:30PM)

Wednesday:
- Bible Class (7:00pm - 8:00pm)

Friday:
- Illumination Workshop (6:30pm - 7:10pm)

We have Sunday School service for the following age groups:
1. Children (ages 5-12)
2. Teens (ages 13-19)
3. Adults (ages 18+)

What should I wear to church?

At Open Arms of Love, we try to reverence God in every way including the way we dress. We encourage you to dress business casual and modestly to church service. Business casual attire strikes a balance between comfort and formality. Dressing modestly is a way to present yourself with dignity and respect as well as align with the values and traditions of the church community. Keep in mind to stay comfortable and account for the weather as well as the in-building temperature!
